With the release of the Smart Media recognition program announcement, I wanted to share with you a vision I experienced.
This announcement is one of the biggest and most important in Smart Media’s history and I was fortunate to be part of the mastermind team that developed this recognition program. The night it was finalised, I had a powerful “vision” of the future…
I was at a Smart Media awards event where
there were tens of thousands of people present. It was a gala event
with the ladies dressed in beautiful gowns and the men in their best
suits.
It was a night where the Smart Media
community had come together to celebrate and recognise their heroes.
There was entertainment, dancing and lots of fun. The most important
part of the night were the recognition awards, where names were called
out and members were invited onto the stage to receive their awards and
share their stories. There were so many special people to recognise:
- Smart Media Founding Members
- Star & Diamond Leaders
- Leadership Matching Bonus Leaders
- Smart Media Heroes
- Members who were “Making a Difference”
- And more….
I awoke the next morning with a feeling and sense of knowing that Smart Media now had a recognition program that could build our culture and our community; a solid rock to shape our future. In years to come we will look back at our recognition program as one of our greatest achievements and all of us here right now are a part of that history.
ALL of us have an equal chance to be recognised at the highest levels of achievement and when I look at the qualifications, I feel very proud we have a program that is fair and open to every member.
The recognition starts at a point where every person can do it.
The achievements are based on behaviour that we want to attract.
- Be active by paying your monthly subscription
- Sponsor 2 members to qualify for team commission
- Sponsor 6 and be qualified for LMB1
- Sponsor 12 and be qualified for LMB2
- Sponsor 14 and be qualified for LMB3
This builds your “personal” solid foundation and while doing so, you help your team members do the same. Then, as your business grows, you start reaching Star & Diamond leadership levels and which lead you to be recognised in the Hall of Fame.
This is a step-by-step map that is simple to follow. Each person can choose the goal they desire to reach and put a plan in place to achieve each goal around their own timeline. There are none of the usual hoops and loops for you to jump through that are often found in other recognition programs and where it is easy to miss out.
I have personally been in programs like that and achieved top awards, but I have seen many who had worked so hard, only to miss out because of the tricks designed to make it almost impossible for the average person to achieve. I have personally felt the tremendous pressure and stress that these types of programs put you under on a weekly and monthly basis. They make it so that it is impossible even to take a holiday without the fear of loss.
Smart Media does not have these pressures and is a program that, in years to come, we will look back with a huge grin on our faces (like the Cheshire Cat!) remembering when we realised how important it had become.
At every live and online event around the world, we will take time to recognise our special members, our heroes, the members who shape our community and set our culture. At these events, these members will be made to feel special and the new people in the room will feel it and set their goals so they too can be recognised at the next event.
The Smart Media recognition program will be a driving force that will help us achieve our ultimate goal to make the world a better place because we were here.
